THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE-- OR DO THEY!

      The other day I overheard an elderly lady make the comment "They don't make em' like they used to!" There are a lot of things that are not made with the quality of old for sure. But, one thing that Has changed is cars. 

       When I was a kid back in the 1950's and beyond, cars did not last as long as they do today. My dad traded at least every two years and it seemed if you had more than about 30,000 miles on your car it was trading time. If you had 50,000 or more you didn't tell anybody. Today it seems like a lot of people brag that their vehicle has 150,000 or more miles. Maybe this is just my imagination. Oh well! Cars were cooler back then!
