I COULD BREAK MY NECK!

      The other day an older gentleman was checking out at the Burg Grocery and mis-stepped somehow and almost fell. His remark was that he could have fallen and broke his neck. That phrase has been used by us all at one time or other. But, for some reason when he said it I thought how terrible it would be if someone did fall and actually broke their neck. I think from now on I will try to say "I could have fallen and twisted my ankle."
