DATE ALL CHECKS THE 1ST!

      Customers are constantly asking, as they are checking out at the Burg Grocery while starting to write a check, what the date is. Here is one thing I started doing a couple of years ago while writing a few checks at the first of the month. I just date them all the 1ST. What difference does it make? Even if I write one by the 7th, I still write the 1st. This way I never have to think or look at what the date is. It is not like I am post dating? Besides, if someone gets my check by the 20th so what if it is dated the 1st as long as it on time. I know what you are asking? Why am I still writing checks!
