HAVE YOUR TASTY TACO & CHEESECAKE TOO!

     Tuesday evening we drove toWest Des Moines to meet up with Cathy, a close friend of Ilah's from Ida Grove, who was attending a seminar related to her business. I have always said it is nice to get out of Dodge on ocassion and see a little different scenery.

      My treat and motivation for riding along was we were going to have dinner at Tasty Taco's at their new location near Jordan Creek Mall. Then, Ilah suggested, with little resistance, to have dessert at the Cheesecake Factory nearby. For me this was heaven and yes we were in Iowa.

       It was funny listening to these two women, as we were driving around the immediate area, yelling out different store names and  commenting on how good they are for eating or shopping. You would think that they had never been to the BIG city. It was like we driving down the main drag in Las Vegas or Broadway in New York City. It was fun and funny! Everyone had a  really good time!
