MAMA MIA! ZENO'S STILL A TREAT!

      This past weekend, while in Marshalltown, and with family, we ate at Zeno's on Main Street a long time dining tradition since the 1950's. Since it had been sold from long time owner Terry and Jan Kluck, some said it wasn't as good as it once was. 

        I am going to put any nasty rumors to rest. I had just a plain half cheese and half green pepper. I have always said that one way to determine the flavor of a pizza is to occasionally just order cheese to test the true flavor. They still use "provolone" instead of mozzarella like most pizza places. They were also in the midst of redecorating and there was a big crowd Saturday evening. 

       When any of us go back "home" wherever that may be it is always comforting to have a place like Zeno's or Taylor's to come home to. It is good when some things stay the same! Yes it is!
