ONLY IN A SMALL TOWN/WHERE WOMEN ARE--!

      This past week a lady was checking out at the Burg Grocery and came up with a dandy! She had brought in her own grocery bag, as several customers do, and I filled it as best I could. It was fairly heavy and as she appeared to be my age, give or take, I offered to carry it out for her as we always do!  We offer because it is part of the job and as a courtesy!

        She immediately declined the offer and replied that earlier in the day she had changed a flat tire on a pick-up truck and she could easily handle a bag of groceries! I love it! This is where women are women!
