JOHNNY & MAY SMITH LAVERTY PHOTO COLLECTION IS READY!!

     The "Johnny & May Smith Laverty-A Photographic Collection of Their Families & Memories" is now complete and now ready for those who may have an interest in obtaining a copy for ones self and/or other family members and friends.

      It is a bound protective covered collection of over 90 pages and includes over 500 photos from as early as the 1880's up the early 1960's. With the assistance of Sarah Witte of the Iowa County Historical Society, this illustrated collection will not only provide enjoyment for family members, but, also will be of interest to just those that have an appreciation of viewing photos from days gone by with interest in clothing styles, old autos, decorating and rural/farm settings. Most all of the photographs were taken in the Laurel, Marshalltown in Marshall County, and rural northern Jasper County of Iowa.

     The collection also includes a glossary of both families, the Laverty's and the Smith's, including birth and deceased dates, including location of burial of family members. Both sides includes back to both of  my great-grandfathers.
