I mentioned to someone last week before taking my grand-daughter to an Iowa Hawkeye football game, that it would be like taking a pet puppy to the beach to meet the "babes." Meaning with a cute eight year old at my side it would be easier to "scalp" a ticket.
The individual I was talking to replied. Why would you need a puppy to attract girls? And, besides dogs don't belong on the beach. In addition, dogs don't belong in a house either! Some-how the whole object of my story, the humor, and analogy was somehow missed. Oh well, you can't win them all!
