A lady came into the Burg Grocery and among other things purchased oyster crackers. I teased by saying it was a little early for oyster soup. Her answer was a resounding "no" and that when she was a kid they only had it once a year at Christmas Eve. And, because she learned to love it, she now has it several times a year. Even though, she usually buys them out of the can.
It is nice to know and meet another oyster lover. Sometimes you feel you are the only one when others you talk to thumb their noses when you mention the word oyster. I should start a Oyster Club!
