WHAT'S THE CHANCE-SLIM & NONE!

     Someone yesterday brought up a subject where the chance of it getting approved was very slim. Of course, it reminded me of an old saying that a  baseball broadcaster used during an argument between an umpire and a batter. 

        The commentator was Dizzy Dean a one time pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals. On one occasion Dizzy was heard saying during a home plate argument---"He (the batter) has two chances of winning the argument--Slim and None!"
