Last night I drove to my favorite Prime Rib destination-That Place on the corner near Conrad, Iowa. I keep thinking that I need to find, and I'm sure I could if I tried harder, a good prime rib joint somewhere closer to home here in eastern Iowa.
But, in the meantime it still is a pleasure to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, listen to my Cubs win another one on the radio, cruise through Marshalltown to see what's new, and stop by for a brother/sister chat with my sister Doris. Sometimes it's the simple things in life!
