ESTES GETAWAY/SEEING THOSE MOUNTAINS 1ST TIME!

        One thing through the years of traveling to Colorado and the Rocky Mountains is when you first see or think you see the Mountains. It used to be`a game with my kids when we would go out skiing years ago. At first, one of us would think we saw them, but, maybe it was just a cloud range. Then they would be spotted for real and it was total excitement.

         This trip was no different. Only my first spotting came from the`north and up near Cheyenne, Wyoming. That siting still caused a rush! Conversely, when leaving and looking back through my rear view mirror, I was saddened by watching those beautiful snow capped majesties fade from my view. I will return--soon!
