DRAGGIN' THE LINE?

       Another old song that I have listened to for many many years has been "Draggin' The Line" by the singer Tommy James. I never knew what that line meant so I looked it up thanks to Google. When asked by Tommy James his reply was it just meant going to work and nothing more mysterious. 

          I actually thought the line was "Chugging The Line." Through the years, I wonder how many songs I thought said one thing, but, said another. Thanks to being able to google up a lot of this trivia it's like a whole new world coming into view! Maybe some of it would be best left alone though!
