TOUGH TO GET TO-BUT WORTH IT!

         In today's Des Moines Register, 3/26/2018, there was an article about a "Restaurant (Bluff Lake Catfish Farm) Affected by Road Closure."  It was the very one that I visited last summer and indicated that it was the most unusual setting, great food and  scenic way of getting there I had ever encountered. 

            You may want to wait till Fall to give it a visit as the road that cuts through Maquoketa Caves State Park is closed for resurfacing and /or repairs. There is another way in there but is something like a four mile detour. If you get over to that area, maybe this Fall, keep it in mind as I guarantee that is a dining experience you won't forget.
