"GETTING STOVED UP!"

        One expression I have never heard of is "getting stoved up!" But, the other day while helping out a gentleman with his groceries, he was walking with a slight limp. He mentioned that he got "stoved up" and its just the way he now walks. I did look up the term and you can find a definition of it and has to do with being incapacitated.

       As I have gotten older and when getting out of the car after driving some distance, it takes me about a dozen steps to walk normal. I guess from here on I am just going to say that I am "stoved Up!" One part of aging I don't care for!
