THOSE MISSOURI PEACHES KEEP COMING!

     A lady at the Burg Grocery this past week was checking out about a dozen cans of cherry pie filling. I, of course, had to ask! She was going over to her sister'd house and they were going to make pies and freeze a whole bunch. 

     Along with the cherry pies, they were going to make peach pies with peaches that she brought up from Missouri. When we got to her car I noticed her license plates were from Missouri. It just seemed funny that she literally was from the Show Me State and brought the peaches up here while visiting her sister in Williamsburg! As Paul Harvey used to say: "Now you know the rest of the story!"
