Today at the Burg Grocery a teenager was back at the deli and I assume ordering lunch. I heard him say that he wanted "an order of GIZZARDS." When he was walking out I asked him if was really was ordering them for himself or his parents! They were for him and he loves them!
I don't know how I missed out on gizzards and liver and all that FUN food that my generation and older ones seemed to have been raised on. It's like rhubarb, you either like it or you don't I guess. Never thought I would ever hear a teenage kid order gizzards! Not in my lifetime.
