KIDNEY BEAN SALAD UP FROM THE PAST!

       One advantage or dis-advantage of working at a grocery store is all the ideas you get in  preparing and/or eating food.  One idea that came out of isle 2 was while I was "facing" there. The can of kidney beans was talking to me and for some reason I listened.

         On a somewhat ongoing basis, my mother used to make this salad and I always remember how I enjoyed it. And, with me currently on a diet and trying to eat more of my meals without meat or especially beef and pork, it is an opportune time to give this taste treat from the past a go!
