ELVIS & JOHNNY CASH ENTERTAIN JERRY & JUDY!

Yesterday afternoon, Thursday, June 22, 2017, Laurel classmate Jerry Roberts, wife Judy and I attended the 2PM matinee at the Old Creamery  in Amana of "Million Dollar Quartet." It is about the ONLY time Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins were together at Sun Records where they all got their start. It is an excellent musical about the time in the 1950's.

It is impressive in the fact that the place was pretty well sold out for a Thursday afternoon and that it runs for an entire month with a  seating capacity of about 300. After the performance, we headed over to the nearby Oxe Yoke Inn for a little of that great Amish food. A fun afternoon with good friends.
