WORLD'S MOST POLLUTED CITIES!

An article in USA Today this past week pointed out the World's most polluted cities. World Health Orginization rankings are based on the amount of PM 2.5--particle matter smaller than 2.5 microns in diameter common to dust, soot, and smoke.

WHO guidelines call for no matter than 10 micrograms of PM 2.5 per cubic meter of air. Zabol, Iran is this year's winner at a whopping 217. Most top polluted cities are found in India, China, and even Saudi Arabia. Beijing, China has been well above 200.

The worst US city didn't crack WHO's top 1,000 cities. Visalia, California came in at 1,080. We don't have it so bad. And, what are we to do when the USA does everything possible in fighting global warming and the rest of the world lags far far behind.
