This past week-end a lady here in Williamsburg made some of the best fudge I believe I have ever had-at least in a long long time. I took some along on a visit accompanied by sister Doris this past week to my other sister Deborah in Northwest Indiana.
Doris is the ultimate fudge critic. She loved it. Wow! This was like getting the Pope's blessing. I knew it was very good, but, now Doris made it official. Here is the recipe even though this may be exactly how you make it
EASY SMOOTH FUDGE
12 oz. white almond bark 1 T. margarine
6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk 3/4 C. chopped pecans (opt.)
Melt almond bark in microwave watch carefully. Do not overcook. Stir in
chocolate chips until they are melted. Add remaining ingredients and stir
until all is blended. Pour into buttered 9x9 inch pan. Cool
