LUNCH W/ FRIENDS OF LONG AGO!

      This past Monday, November 28, 2016, I drove to West Des Moines and met for lunch at Maxie's restaurant a group of old friends that I hadn't seen or been with for over 20 years. The individual responsible for the luncheon was Doug Callison. 

        Even though most of these friends go back to days starting in the late 1970's and "bar" acquaintances, some became good friends like Doug, Bob Merritt, Marv Steffenson, and Bill Bryant to just name a few. I appreciate Doug for inviting me and hope to do it again next Spring when some return from their winter destinations.
