1ST DAY OF WINTER-BE AN OPTIMIST!

          Before you get too discouraged about yesterday being the first day of winter, December, 21, 2016, remember that each day now will only get longer. I am personally encouraged this time of year because my birthday is at the end of January and by then it is light at least by 6 PM. What's a month? Living in Iowa we must always find ways to be an optimist when it comes to winter weather!
