THAT'LL BE THE DAY/ ONLY ONE!

       Yesterday, Saturday June 30th 2018, I attended "That'll be the day-A tribute to Buddy Holly and the Crickets" at the Old Creamery Theater in Amana, Iowa. At one point, after singing That'll be the Day--the lead man asked the audience, by raising their hand,  if anyone had or still had the old 45 record of the same.

 There might have been 2-3 people, including yours truly that raised their hand. Made me feel good but kinda old!  For what it's worth, I still have most all of my original 45 record collection including 45 records of the Big Bopper and Richie Valens who was on that plane from Mason City on that winter night in January 1959.
